Backlog of orders is good but it does not guarantee anything. Orders can be cancel or push out. I have been looking back at their last 4 quarters earning report and I found that their cash balance and investment decrease sequentially. At the same time the total assets also decrease in the same manner. I can understand that they use their cash to invest in new fab and equipments but then why their total asset also decrease. Is this good or bad and where the money go? I am a beginner in reading the income statement but can anyone care to clarify.
