As a taken Nuko investor, it is time for me to say a final goodbye to this thread:
"Coyote Network Systems Withdraws Offer to Acquire NUKO
March 12, 1998 03:26 PM
WESTLAKE VILLAGE, Calif., March 12 /PRNewswire/ -- Coyote Network Systems, Inc. CYOE today announced that it has withdrawn its offer to acquire NUKO Information Systems, Inc. NUKO in a stock-for-stock deal as announced December 12, 1997. Among the reasons for withdrawing the offer, Coyote Network Systems stated that it was unable to reach agreement on the transaction with substantial NUKO creditors and other interests. "We are disappointed that the acquisition of NUKO will not be completed," said James J. Fiedler, chairman and chief executive officer, Coyote Network Systems.
"Despite the operating synergies between the two companies, we determined that going forward would no longer be in the best interests of Coyote's shareholders. We will continue to develop relationships with, and acquire companies, that have complementary technologies, network services and which strategically align with our mission to provide total voice, data, and video solutions to our customers."
