Don't agree - but appreciate the thoughts. Its the installed base of devices running ctxs that cannot be converted to msft ware that I think is the barrier. When Corp X installs NT 6.0, how do they service the twqo years of devices running on ICA - assumming we get a proliferation of non-traditional computing devices - running ICA?? Do they support BOTH protocals - technically feasible, lbut expensive, or do they discontinue support for ICA?? Dilemma, if you ask me. The point is that two different kinds of people need to make a decision - in the language of the game theoriest, its a coordination game - doesn't much matter what you and I do, so long as its the same. If we both do different things, that's bad for both. In a sense, folks running thin devices with ICA embedded has made a choice that cannot easily be changed - presumably this puts pressure (who knows how much) on the server provider to continue supporting ICA.

Just thoughts
