Nanometrics Appoints New Director of Sales
SUNNYVALE, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--March 12, 1998--Nanometrics Inc. (NASDAQ:NANO - news), a global supplier of advanced metrology equipment for the semiconductor industry, announced today the appointment of Nathan J. Coe to Director of Sales for North America.
''Increased management depth will enable Nanometrics to provide focused, high level expertise to our global accounts, driving an increased demand for follow-on and new sales of our metrology equipment,'' said John Heaton, President and COO of Nanometrics Inc. In his new role at Nanometrics, Coe will fill the position formerly held by Roger Ingalls, Jr., who will assume the new position of Vice President and Director of Marketing.
Prior to joining Nanometrics, Coe was Manager of Microelectronics Systems at Nikon Inc. He has over 16 years of experience in the semiconductor industry and will be based out of Nanometrics' world headquarters located in Sunnyvale. Coe received a B.S. from the University of Kansas.
