I don't know too much about this company (AGTI), but being from the Vancouver area and working in the electronics industry, I would like every one to know that I am very familiar with the engineering co. that was used to design the hardware for AGTI. The company (as you may know) was PDI (Pacific Design Engineering). They have some highly skilled and knowledgable people working there. They are one of the leaders on the West Coast when it comes to industrial design. They don't come cheap, but you can guarantee that the quality of their work is second to none! To design an injection molded product, such as the handheld bingo unit, takes a lot of capitol. The tooling charges run up to about $100K. The guy's at PDE have many years of experience in the business, they use high end workstation tools to do their designs (Software used includes Pro-Engineer & Mentor). They have a fully equiped machine shop, and have an impressive portfolio of products they showcase. They are actually a competitor to myself in one discipline (electronic design) but I'm tooting their horn as an AGTI shareholder. I didn't know who had done the engineering work until after I had bought my shares (lack of DD from me), but was pleased to find out who it was after. I will try and dig up (from PDE) any info regarding tgs59's post on any problems with the units.
