Well what do you know. Craig is a real human being. I'm sure of it. I saw his pic in the 4/98 edition of Smart Money.. C. Oster wrote an article entitled "Hopelessly Devoted" which speaks about SI, the people who follow the threads and the sometimes cloudy or blind devotion to tech stocks. The article quotes one of the co-founders of SI and many bulls. Mr. Crawford's opinions are noted as they show that there are a minority of bears, shorts, etc. on the threads and the article refers to the whipping they take when they speak their mind.
The article relays a victory Mr. Crawford had back in December shorting 3COM and goes on to talk about FIBR. The article gives us "It's a scam plain and simple" (which made me chuckle) that we have all heard time and again in Mr. Crawford's many posts. There is a short response from a Fibr official.
The article states: <<Crawford is being sued by Osicom, a small networking outfit, for his relentless attacks. "We're in favor of Silicon Investor, but we want the discussion to play by the rules," maintains John Mason, director of business and strategic planning for Osicom. "If people have analysis to do on the company, we want them to do it. But this is more an issue of Crawford's being more bearinsh than bullish. Falsehoods are falsehoods, period. We want the dialogue to be decent." '''''>>
There is no real info in the article re: fibr but I thought you might miss it. Long FIBR
