2 or 3 years ago Exactech paid a visit to the manufacturing facility
where I worked and fed us and gave us a pep talk and thanked us
for all the hard work we had done in manufacturing their femoral
and other components and helping to make them successful. At that
time it was my impression that all of Exactech's work was farmed out and the staff was involved in design and sales. They were very small
(less than 20 people ?) and were doing very well as far as developing
high dollar products that were constantly innovating new and marketable improvements. These are some smart people.

With the new building they will be able to do more work in house
and have a quicker turn around time ( I know how far behind we
were on deliveries at times) and especially for developing new
systems.

I haven't talked to them so this is JMO based on what I know about
them from helping to manufacture the femorals but I do know that
it is a good solid, innovative company that is going to grow
and I bought today because I think the timing is good.
