Thanks Tom -

I used to visit Deaner when the site was free. I'll have to visit the Golddigger forum more often to keep up on your TA. I'd like to learn much more about it. I've read many of your comments both here and at Kitco over the past year. Do you happen to know of any sites on the web where one can get charts for Canadian stocks that will show moving averages, or other indicators?

Interesting that you see a big move coming. Hope it is in the right direction, and soon. One of my thoughts has been that if there is going to be a serious problem in Japan, we will see it in the POG first. Wonder if you think that would be the case, or whether we would simply see more money flowing into US Treasuries or other paper.

I'd really love to see you post some of your analysis here on a regular basis. I was hoping when the thread started that we might be able to attract more comment on the technical side. But when it comes down to it, I don't think gold has been driven by the internals. Seems like it's really been acting as a leading indicator of global disinflation/deflation. Trying to remember the name of the guy that wrote Stock Market Logic. He has a model for the gold price that is based, if I remember correctly, on a moving average of the preceding 6 months change in the inflation rate. I think this model would have worked as well as anything for the past 2 years. Wonder also if you have ever had a look at the work of David Marantette. I think you'd find his work with cycles for POG, Silver, XAU, and stocks quite interesting.

regards - Tom
