Taxi,
Spell-checkers are often written by yankee programmers who have no conception of the true language (Southern). Let's see if I can get a warning or kicked off SI. An example of true southern that is often misconstrued by lesser people is 'hardon'. No snickering now. As it is meant in 'southern', it means to be offered and accept gainful employment. As in "Ah hardon down at the sawmill - start Monday". If you type this word and run it by the spell-checker, you get an error. As I demonstrated, it is a true and correct word 'down hyar'.
