I think this is just a short squeeze of epic proportions. Glad I'm not a part of it. But I never developed the ability to hold my nose and go long on these turkeys. I'd make a fortune otherwise. How does taking on a huge expense like 100,000 feet in NY help? Are they going to make the receivers themsleves because no one else will? CDRD is leveraged to the hilt with discount convertible financing just trying to get their satellites launched (on credit, to boot). They don't have viable hardware, only Bloomberg has signed up as a content provider, they haven't done any advertising and no one has firm figures on who, if anyone, will use this service, assuming that it works. Given all of the above, naturally the stock is up 30% in the last few days. I made my money shorting CDRD before. I may do it again later. For now, this makes most of the Internet stocks look like pure value plays. Weird.
