Group West contract for $300,000


GROUP WEST SYSTEMS LTD. RECEIVES APPROVAL OF MAJOR MILLENIUM PROJECT

Bill Ste. Marie President and CEO is pleased to announce that Group West
Systems Ltd. has signed a $300,000 (CDN) Services Agreement with one of the
largest information technology services company ( "the Company") in Western
Canada. Resulting in a significant business opportunity to do additional
business with this information and technology company non-competition and
confidentiality agreements have been completed to protect the name of the
company.

Group West Systems Ltd. will perform the Year 2000 remediation on their core
application software. The project will ensure that the mission critical
customer and billing applications are converted and tested to meet century
date compliance well before the Year 2000. Group West Systems Ltd. will
complete the project at their conversion factory in Burnaby, BC.

Group West Systems Ltd. is focusing on the midrange market with offices
located throughout Canada and the Western United States. Group West Systems
Ltd. also provides a comprehensive range of services to the rapidly evolving
information technology services industry including such leaders as Rogers
Sugar, Pharmasave, BC Rail, Toronto Dominion Bank and Microsoft Corporation.
