RE: Datek server performance

I don't think Datek server performance is that great
at all. It took me a good _9_ minutes to execute a
market sell order on ORCL this morning, from the time
my order was entered, to the time my shares were sold.
During that time, the price on ORCL dropped like a rock.

Sure, you can blame it on the market opening. But this
kind of delay never happened to me when I was using
Brown & Co. They were always executed between 0-5
minutes once the broker received your phone order.

If anyone from Datek is reading this, please do the
following:

1) Consider compensating me for my loss, in addition
to the free commission. Nine minutes of delay is
simply intolerable in today's market. Brown & Co
would at least give me a price improvement when the
delay exceeded 3-4 minutes.

2) Upgrade the trading system in a massive way so
that you can ensure things will run more smoothly at
future market opening and closing.

If something is not done about this, one can be sure
all hell will break loose at the next correction.
