The main secret is that most network services required for the NCs are not part of the daily UNIX and non-UNIX "admin world". i.e. using TFTP, DHCP, or BOOTP to download/transfer files is not part of everyday's routine. Most admin don't know how and where to enable them on the system. So, if you don't know how to work with these services, then yes, it's difficult to install the server.

NCDware has an installation program that sets up everything for you- this script has been out for few years now. All you have to do is press Return. Now, how difficult is that?
