Gary and Dennis -- Mission accomplished. Ashby spoke at the JP Morgan conference and they're on target for the quarter. The moderator opened the presentation by saying "This quarter's going to be good." Then towards the end of his presentation, Ashby said, "We expect to meet estimates in Q1 and regain credibility we lost in 1997." Afterwards I went up and asked a few more questions and closed by saying, "You'll be on target this quarter?" Answer: "Yes." I don't know if it's already known, but when Bernie spoke he said they'd be announcing VoIP the first week of April. Judging by the presentations I heard --- NN, CIEN, and ASND --- the networking market is strong. The DWDM segment alone is estimated to go from $2 billion right now to $10 to 15 billion by 2001.
