Stan: The "fourth market" is unrelated to the Instinet. The term "fourth market" collectively describes the private transactions between major corporations, mutuals, money center banks and the like. I don't imagine IOMG stock has much fourth market volume, but then again, nobody knows! I do not know if Instinet trades are reported and counted in volume figures by NASDAQ. IMO the reporting of Instinet trades is voluntary or "voluntary" but recommended by NASDAQ. Maybe someone else could enlighten us on that aspect. The after market reports you refer to are probably second hand info gleened by reporters from brokers working the Instinet. I would be very suspicious of any after hours price reports until the Instinet or something similar becomes more widespread and available to you and me (which would probably bring SEC regulations and mandatory reporting).

Good luck investing.
