Just read an article today that said that we aren't finding enough gas here in the US to meet our needs. Right now it looks to have more immediate potential than oil. Oil can be substituted for gas in several industries and in the utilities (electric power generating plants) whenever the economies of one is better than the other. (Coal was also an alternative fuel, long ago, before the environmentalists ruled out that option). So I don't see where gas becomes more prized than oil. Can someone dig up a comparative chart of oil vs. gas price, say 1950 to present? It should be interesting. Tulvio
