Christine, I sense that you have a goal of changing the religious views of Christians. For what reason, I don't know--I do not know of a case where a homosexual was banned from attending ANY Christian Church. Do you?

then why do the feelings and belief system of the conservative Christians have such a prominent role in determining the fate of so many people in a free society where we have separation of church and state?

Could you provide evidence that shows where a Christian minister has espoused the view that it was recommended that parents of homosexuals throw their gay children out on the street? Or suggest that a gay person not attend his church? Let's have some proof, not a 60 minutes episode that talks about "Christians" throwing their kids out on the street. A "Christian" would be going against Christian morals espoused and taught in Christian churches.

I'm ready for more facts to back your assertions.
