I must admit to feeling somewhat nervous having taken the plunge into PYT this morning, only to be promptly "greeted" by a VSE halt trading order. Despite this I remain fairly confident that this reflects the usual actions taken by the VSE in situations where a stock has moved significantly over such a short period of time, rather than being a portent of undesirable news.

Having said that, the reason for my nervousness stems from hearing that Scotty Grubb is in charge of PYNG IR. Last year I invested (and lost $) heavily in Ebony Gas & Gold with Scotty in charge of IR up to and including the fateful day in mid-July 1997 when the stock crashed. In the days preceding the trading halt and ensuing stock crash he claimed to have visited the oil & gas drilling site and said verbatim responding to a letter, "I have been there Dennis and I would stake my repution on the total validaty of EGG's assets and huge potential that lies ahead. As I said before THIS IS JUST THE BEGGINING." Here's a few of his letters that I'm referring to:

Hopefully this audience can see why I'm somewhat worried at this point. Granted, it's not fair to compare the progress this company has (supposedly) achieved thus far to betting my retirement dollars on speculative drilling ventures, but I remain somewhat nervous nonetheless.

Don Elving & Justin Curran were in the same boat as I back then. Have either of the two of you any supporting comments to help reassure me that PYT won't meet the same fate as EGG? Perhaps you have been around long enough in investing circles to be so kind as to share some better investment success stories that Scotty has been involved in. Anything you wish to contribute yourself, Scotty?

I mean no disrespect to you sir, but at the same time just want to hear from others that they believe your bottom line is to support the best interests of investors and the company you're working for alike in an honest and open fashion. Letting us know you were somehow mislead by EGG management would also be of immense interest. In the end I wish the best of luck to all in what I perceive to be an exceptionally rare investment opportunity. I really hope this one turns out to be a solid winner based on solid fundamentals.
