Breakdown of Playstation installed base by country:

Europe: 8.6 million
Japan: 10.65 million
US: 10.75 million
Worldwide: 30 million

This is Sony's report on how many Playstations they have sold. Just thought it might be useful information to have when considering how a game will sell in different countries.

Also every single PSX can run any game developed for the PSX unlike
the PC platform which have minimum requirements hopefully Intel
will fix that with the i740.
