Mark, I respectfully disagree. It appears that Fred Arkoosh wasn't given much opportunity to do anything but take care of the ASE matter, which he did quite well. The ASC matter was apparently left undone against his advice. The ASE, despite its credibility problems, was induced to make a deal by the unceasing, daily efforts of Fred Arkoosh. He was able to do what most of us thought not possible: extricate Naxos from the frivolous ASE claims of impropriety in failing to report standard lead fire assays together with the non-standard assays (it was common knowledge that Naxos was performing only non-standard assays and I think you know that as well as anyone). Given the fact that Arkoosh was not able to do much of anything in the regular operation of Naxos (all you have to do is read the previous posts from well informed individuals about his limited role and his de facto non-existence in the management of Naxos), he has not had a reasonable opportunity to lend his full expertise to Naxos. No doubt we need mining professionals to take care of the mining aspects of the business, but just as important we need business professionals to manage this company in such a way that the general business community can appreciate this company. Fred Arkoosh is in a good position to take Naxos through this transitory phase until its ultimate management makeup is settled. JMHO.
