Halted and questions.. When a stock is halted permanently, what happens to trades that have not settled? Say I heard wind that a company was going to be halted and I dumped a ton of shares immediately, and it WAS halted the next day.. Is there any chance the market maker who bought the shares from me could stop payment thus "breaking" my trade? Just wondering.. looks like there is a 3 day window that market makers could take advantage of.. And no, I'm not talking about NETZ. Stocks in general.
