Let me give you a 'free' lesson about marketing and selling into the wireless data arena. By 'solutions', MCOM would have to find/develop software suitable for a mobile device, convince the users that they need it, justify the expense, convince the IS department (which is already stretched) that they have to learn about a new product, implement and support it, and that the coverage they have is what the customer needs. even if you don't have much experience in this business, you'll appreciate how difficult and expensive this will be. THAT's a solution! It's a long sales process - something MCOM cannot do, nor afford. Hence my suggestion that the only solution they really have is 'wireless access' - and that's what they should concentrate on.
