Henry, I use Matrox Millennium cards
in all my machines. My P2 came with an AGP
slot, but i went for the PCI version instead.
There's one game that uses AGP at the moment,
and will probably be a few others down the road.
So far AGP is turning out to be as useless
as MMX.If you are going to wait awhile, TDFX should
be releasing or at least giving spec's for their
2D/3D card "Banshee". The performance won't be as
good as a Voodoo 2, but anything over 40 fps should
be quite acceptable<G>.
Alot of gamers are using the Riva 128 for 2D, and the
Voodoo 2 for games. I've read some good things on that
combo. Thanks for the link for V2's, i always buy through
NECX, they have the 12 mb Boards backorderd again. If you
wait aliitle while Jazz has a 12mb board for $199, I think
STB and Microns are $249.TDFX can't make the chips fast
enough at the moment. The big companys are getting filled
first

Nice move on the calls, The console games are going
to sure help. Old Pitfall Harry started the "twitchers"
twitching. I still have the game and my old Atari machine.
