Noda the Bondholders ousting Jobs is an old rumor

Started in December when some of them converted to stock . They had been Dr. Gil's investors and the logic was to pay back Jobs .

Senor Jobs has been there and back - remember Sculley ? Dr. Gil owes $5 mln to AAPL and it is secured by his options exercisable at $26.

You know whuut ? At $26 Dr Gil's still owes AAPL mega bucks so the update goes Dr. G calmed down his bondholder friends .

At $28 the remaining bondholders are made whole and that is why we will see $28 by annual meeting time .

Now that is not the end to that rumor as the update adds that the bondholders have committed their shares to somebody out of the Blue .

Phil Lee's explanation of this is as good as it comes and AAPL's Board , picked by Jobs and in at $23/shr , would be crazy to jump ship .

The same goes for Power CC's remaining shareholders.

Hold this puppy,
Jim K.

PS: I didn't believe the rumor but I averaged my holdings down from $28/shr to slightly under $18 - My buy for 19 13/16 at 2/98 opts expir time did not execute . I will attempt a buy again this Friday .
