It's so irksome to me, that there is cable modem available in all surrounding towns, but not here. Several months ago when I heard of the surrounding deployment, I thought that it was going to be a short while until it would be available to me. I have yet to discover what the problem is in getting it here. Arghhh.

Needless to say, I would be a customer in an instant.

But what it seems to me is that these companies are missing a great opportunity to lock people in. Because at this point if DSL becomes available from the phone company, then I may end up never considering cable modems if available. I can't think that I am untypical in this regard.
