That's it in a nutshell. You'll be glad to know SI is becoming a recognized name, too. I almost always say I follow the Silicon Investor financial forum on the Internet and it's surprising how many positive responses I get. Whenever someone doesn't know what I mean, I tell them "www.techstocks.com." <g>

And, yes, for the first time in stock market history the guy/gal on the street can play with the same cards. I've attended dozens of shows and conferences over the past few years and have never been treated with anything but respect. In fact, a year ago at the Alex Brown conference in Baltimore, I walked into the ballroom for lunch and saw an empty seat at a table filled with black suits and mostly silver hair, so went up and asked if I might sit there. I got an immediate, "Of course . . . I saved it just for you." Joking, of course. Turns out he was one of AB's owners. Everyone else in the room was probably intimidated to sit there. But being the naif I was, I didn't know him from Adam. Yesterday I got an equally warm reception from NN's VP. It's an amazing world.
