MR France "Pessimist"

Are you shorting the stock? Are you looking to purchase lower? Give reasons for your negative approach without babbling analyst over kill statements.

Look, Im not saying CPQ is at the bottom, however if one buys at 23, 24 28 or 30 when the stock in two years will be over 60, 70 or even 100 bucks - Did I purchase at the bottom at 29. I think so. I dont time the market, nor do I time stocks right hardly ever in the short time. But its easy when you have a longer time horizon. We must take the blinders off and look at what this company is, will be in the future. Forget the 300,000 boxes. They will sell them, write them off give them to charity Whatever!!!! Inventory problems plague all companies especially computer manufacturers. Will they fix the problem short term "no" will it be fixed longer term "yes"

I sure would not bet against compaq beating your views. I wish I could short your outlook. Now thats an investment.
