To All on EPEA,
I was able to obtain a lot of info on EPEA IN 1995 and 1996,but
except for the few company releases in 1997,direct info has not
been at hand as of late.
In July 1995,EPAC START Compliance Plan was accepted by the Start
Compliance Review Group for those wondering on the "START" PART.
I myself have been in EPEA stock for the long haul and have
invested very heavy in them,to the point I would never recommend
anyone to be so lopsided in one stock, but feel if my homework is
correct, those of us in EPEA stock will be well rewarded as long
as we can be patient, for there is a very large vacuum for launching
of satellites.
A private study group of France in either Oct. or Nov. of 1997 in
the next 5 years, take or leave a year either way, that the outlay
for launching worldwide will be from 95-125 billion US dollars,of
which I feel EPEA stands to play a part. Lockheed has had their
troubles of late with their large Delta rocket, while both China and
Russia have had recent failures which has put the insurance to
launch with them very high.
In Dec. of 96 there was a large dumping of EPEA stock that I feel
mainly came from small mutual funds that were hoping to hit a home run with the stock in 1996,but things don't move that fast in this field, and mainly when you don't have big funds to work with. This
last Dec. I told those that knew I was heavy into EPEA that I felt
it was bottoming out,and that the pressure to take a position would
mount as we went through 1998,for the latest info we all have is the
Spaceport south of Vandenburg AFAB would be ready for launching in
1999. Also info right from EPEA,is they have their launch facility
is now ready on Asension Island, that is off the coast of Brazil, for
the heaviest payload for the Eagle S-11 will need to be launched as close to the Equator as possible.
Lets All Hope We Have Our Money In The Right Place-EPEA!
As said by a great investor,"You only need a few home runs
to make it big". Richard
