Gene,

I read an uncofirmed report from one of the analysts about 1 o 2 weeks ago saying that only 2 companies had signed on for celeron.. quite shocking until you realize that celeron is Intel's worst move ever. While people (and magazines) will undoubtedly compare it with the PII, it will offer performance more along the lines of the classic pentium.. which will hurt the overall perception of the PII (couple that with Apple's new PowerPC vs. Pentium II advertising binge) and Intel just screwed themselves..
