I am not going to argue wuth wether CPQ has 200,000 or 300,000 MMX units in the channel, the fact is they continue to stuff the channel with old technology and that effects shareholder value
As far as your comments about corrolary,all very true and also quite pointless. The top 4 sever suppliers CPQ, DELL , IBM and HP all have 2-way, 4-way, and soon will have 8-way have boxes (HP has I think already started shipping theirs)
Your characterization of Dell as screwdriver shop shows a gaping hole in your knowledge of the PC industry. and if you truly believe that then trying to engage in intelligent conversation with you is a waste of my time
Can you state your top three reasons why you believe that Dell is a "screwdriver" shop or better yet just define what that is or better yet state what difference it makes as it relates to CPQ stock price. Did Dell do something to you as young child as well to warrant such hostility, or let me guess you are a salesrep for a reseller that continues to lose business to direct folks like dell. who is it entex??? vanstar cmon fess up!!!!
