I'm from Valpo and am a great fan of Bryce Drew, a pro candidate who was Mr. Basketball for the State of Indiana in 1994. He is smooth and has uncanny court vision and his game goes way beyond just scoring and he can bury the threes. He hit eight threes last year in the NCAA against Boston College. A good Christian kid that credits Jesus Christ for all he is and has. A good role model for an athelete (refreshing contrast to the other things one reads about). His father Homer Drew (The nicest man in the United States) is the coach of VU and his brother Scott is an assistant coach. His sister Dana Drew was All-American at U of Toledo and I think broke some scoring records as Bryce has done--all time leading scorer and assists at Valpo U. Bryce was conference player of the year, MVP in conference championship three out of four years. Watch him play, he's awesome! Not that athletic, but smart and fun to watch. He will be big time in the NBA someday.

Cheers,

rick
