I read the CPQ posts everyday and see several generalities used.

Could someone define a sub-$1000 dollar computer.

By this I mean: 1) what is the highest computing power available in a sub-1000 (i.e. 200mhz, 4g hard drive, 32Mb RAM, etc.)

What level of power/technology is available for under $1000? I can buy 486's under $1000 but so what, I still don't have what I need!

Thanks
