Joe, here I am a complete idiot about day trades...

I try to go long where possible. So, why am I here?
'Cause I wanna learn how the other side plays. Not
shorting. But, trading.

A couple of, I apologize in advance, very basic
questions which will reveal my ignorance...

* Do you trade on the basis of events--like
rumored upgrades, new deals in a pipeline, actual upgrades,
Dow Jones and Reuters news wire stories, etc?

* Or do you go by TA... which is a whole other subject
that I know next to nothing about though I am doing some
reading in the area... ? Or a combination of both...?

* I'm sure you go into a position with stop-losses,
right? Done that. Been saved lots o' problems. But,
at what percentage below your entry-point do you put
them...?

* I've never invested in a BB stock. Oh, one of
my worst dogs BECAME a BB stock 'cause of its problems.
(WZTC: arghhh!) Let's say I place an order for 10,000 FAMH on Monday--
not recommending that, just a hypothetical--can I expect
the same kind of timely execution I get from my normal
NASDAQ plays? And, if there is a typical scenario, will
this trade as 10,000 block or will the MM break it up
into more manageable units?

* Like I said, Investing101 kind've of stuff. But,
hey, you invited me after our little NETZ discussions.

Thanks and Best Regards,

c m
