Jim, aren't you confusing preference with action on limited choices? Say you're up late at night with insomnia and you feel like watching television. There's only 1 channel still broadcasting and it is Geraldo. So does watching Geraldo mean that you are no longer a devotee of Rush Limbaugh? I don't think your examples can illustrate what you are trying to prove. And that's not to even mention that your preference of Rush may be derived from genetic predilection. (If you really are a Geraldo fan, I was just trying to illustrate a point. Let me apologize in advance for linking you with Rush unnecessarily.)
