Hey guys...excellent thoughts. The ole guessing game is what we are playing. Sit on the edge of our seats and anticipate...that's ok, that's what it is all about. My feelings? This co. isn't going out of bus. anytime soon. I'll be out way before that possibility gets a chance to play out...if it ever could. This co. will probably go bye-bye -via- buyout. If my very subjective hunch is true it may be soon. Or at the very least a rumor hits...rumors pay as much as the real thing, sometimes more.

Look at the 180 chart. I won't go into any T/A stuff here...let's keep it simple for the thread.

4 times on the chart you see unusual volume...indeed a pattern. What good is a chart if you don't learn from it? Anyway, 1st time high vol. GTIS merger hit...2nd time GTIS merger broke off...3rd time pre earnings run-up (much smaller vol. but still pronounced on the chart). 4th time (now)?????

This co. historically does not trade this vol. without something hitting the wires. Guarantee? No way...I could be wrong, still I will play it accordingly since the chart vol. makes this one all to simple. The only thing I need now is a confirmation. That's why I don't get stupid and put orders in for Mon. morning. I'll be watching and if some follow-up occurs I'll be in it within seconds for the big plunge.

Snake...you may be correct about a fund manager playing a 6-9 month outlook here...low odds for me to buy into it though. Those guys usually would slice the trades up small and spread them out over weeks or even months if the play was 6-9 months. Let's watch for a filing anyway.

Like I said...as far as I'm concerned something is up...may be buyout..no way of knowing. I'm pretty sure(speculating) some kind of major news will hit soon and explain this huge vol. the past week. I also doubt that were part of a pump & dump play here (thank gooodness). since those usually involve the news before the vol. so the insiders or big money can exit more gracefully.

One thing is for sure were a heck of alot better off than the weekend before when it hit the 1 7/16...what a boring and kind of painful future (near term) we were looking at. This week may prove to be fun and exciting...we'll C!

Snake your right about the 1/50 being low...I just don't want to get too excited here. Indeed, other indicators favoring better odds are:

1) Shaking of shares to set a new low
2) Very unusually high vol.
3) Slow steady rise (incremental, spread over several days...this is my favorite one.
4) Climax of vol.(highest vol. day) on the last day of the week (sometimes leads to early mon. morning news:):):)

Anyway...I'll wait for my confirmation before sending in the $$$.

Take a look at the chart below to analyze the vol patterns I commented on above. At the very least if no buyout or rumor hits some kind of positive news should. That is better than nothing for a long holder.

Also, Like I said in post #258..."The best time to make a play for MPRS is before the end of March 1998" (In my humble opinion). Short term it would fit since MPRS is low and capable buyers are high (the value of their stock) let's hope someone realizes MPRS's value and makes a play for them with or without the consent of the BOD (Board of Directors).

Have a nice weekend all!
