wow I'm getting ganged up on. isn't anyone out there on my side?

Microsoft used to get slammed for its quirky operating systems. Now NT is getting deployed BIG TIME in mission critical places. microsoft is like the Borg in star trek...total assimilation is inevitable. once a few big companies announce support for MSFT sql server the rest of them will follow like sheep. granted, it may take 2-3 years, and Oracle stock may, as Margarita would say, "ride the trend" up in the short run, but i'm telling you people you're rooting (praying?) for a high school team to beat the Broncos.

does SI save these posts indefinitely. i'll make sure to come back in the year 2000 to link to this subject's humble beginnings and point out how right i was. then maybe i'll get some respect.
