"Today, after being dissatisfied with the real audio player as a tool to listen to Bob's show on the net I toyed with Microsoft Netshow. Netshow . . . had, unlike real audio player, a more consistent and superior sound. My recommendation is to listen to the show via Netshow on the net."

MrGreenJeans, I noticed too that Microsoft Netshow gives superior sound quality. But the quality of the connection for any of the internet broadcasts is, for me, quite variable from one weekend to the next--they are often "chopped". For me it is typical to lose 30 seconds of the transmission every 5 minutes from WLS with Netshow. (And, you know, it's always the most critical 30 seconds--that's unacceptable). Usually my best reception is with KCMO with Real Audio, but on some days, that broadcast is chopped too. I think the quality of the connection is going to vary from listener to listener depending upon the network route, the load on the station's server at any given time, etc., so I suspect it's best for each listener to experiment to see what works best for him.
