bede: You write that QP doesn't include "all the canned indicators" What are these? QP does not include Bollinger Bands, Gann lines, the Fibonacci series, or any of the really esoteric indicators. It does have stochastics, programmable moving averages, OBV, and volume. In fact, the only thing I would add to QP's display toolbox is Bollinger Bands. QP should be able to handle Jeff Cooper's Hit & Run and Five-Day Momentum formulas without too much trouble; the language is sophisticated and powerful enough to find the setups, and you can even program it to back-test the formulas by looping the scans sequentially. But if the Cooper software comes pre-written, SC may be your best bet. Good luck, and let me hear how you do. RS
