Some stocks on the NASDAQ and AMEX are extremely thin. They do not have active support with a group of Market Makers. . An investor can place an order between the bid/ask and it might sit there for a month with no takers. In effect, if you want to buy or sell you need "to make an appointment" with a Market Maker or Exchange specialist and one-on-one negotiate the trade. . KRHL may be moving beyond that, with the VOLUME I've seen lately (although, so far, those BIG trades seemed to be negotiated as well). They are far beyond the normal 30 day soft opening where trading by appointment is quite usual. . Colin
