Never mind, the bull market is so strong and won't finish officially until a big recession hit US. When will that happen? Don't know. But, isn't S&P earning going to be flat this year?
As for DELL... After reading thousands of posts from the main thread, I finally know the reason why people continue to buy the stock! All the bulls remained are spoiled by the bull market. They had never held something going down day after day and eventually disappears. Note that I don't expect DELL to go that route. But, stockholders should prepare for everything...
Another phenomenon I observed from DELL bulls is that they're in denial. They totally believe in Michael Dell as the whiz kid who will eventually be as rich as BG, if not richer. Come on, bulls, none of you had answered the question HOW Dell can gain market share when their main, and much bigger, competitors are all cutting price aggressively to defend this shrinking market?
Dell is definitely making the same mistake INTC made last year - that is, ignorance of sub-$1000 market. And believe me, low price products with undistinguishable features cannot be make BTO. The BTO model, which Dell continues to tout, will turn against themselves. Do you know any TV or VCR that's being made BTO nowadays? No way! |
