IMO, the backlog reduction is not necessarily bad news. It could also reflect an increased efficiency on the manufacturing side, which allowed PTIS to fill more orders last Q. It also allows the revenues from the backlog to be included in the latest Q, driving the earnings up. Guess there is a silver lining in every cloud, but your point is well taken, and maybe this is the reason for the lack of a more generous reaction from the street.
