Daytrade thoughts and answers 1) news is a very good way to play. If you have level 2 quotes and "instant" news you can play for an easy 1/16 plus. Many daytrade this way. 2) rumors is another very good way. buy on rumor sell on news as they say. 3)T/A is not my style but many are very successful using it. 4)Stop losses I do not do. MM's see them and sometimes bring the bid down just to get some more shares. They are great for those that cannot watch the ticks all day. If one cannot watch the ticks stop-loss is critical. I hope this helps. One key to daytrading is have a plan on a specific play and STICK TO IT. Wishy washy = losses. Joe PTG&LI !!!
