To All: Here are some musings on the current state of things. As usual, the press releases leave a lot to be desired. The confusion on the numbers has been addressed but not answered. The changes in management have been addressed but not answered. Nothing new here. My concern in not whether there is gold but whether Naxos will be around to mine it. Make no mistake; failure to resolve these kinds of issues threatens the well being of this company. It brings up all the past concerns about management. The announcement of the "Industry Advisory Panel" epitomizes all that is wrong with the PR of this company. The "INDUSTRY ADVISORY PANEL!" Egad, this sounds like it came straight out of the book "Animal Farm" or the Clinton Administration. No wonder it was met with initial ridicule. Why not a simply statement like "A group of major stockholders has been appointed to direct the search for a new CEO. It is made up of the following people ..." The fact that it was pointed out that these were , indeed, respected people within the Naxos community points out a major strength/weakness of this thread. The well intentioned (and successful, thank you) efforts to keep up the quality of this thread have resulted, IMO, in a hierarchical level of information with the thread being the last to know, if at all. I suspect that most of us had never heard of these people.

Jerard has indicated that this is going to be a historical week or period for Naxos. If this is true, are we ready as individuals and is Naxos ready as a company? I think not. JP has raised many "vision" issues in the past. They have not been addressed. If what rumors the thread allows are true, we are talking about not just gold or pm's, but a potential revolution, not evolution, in how the world does business. Sutter did not get to benefit from the gold rush. Will Naxos?
