No. Yahoo is way ahead of Netscape, let alone ahead of what Netscape is planning. Many of the current Netscape front page views (most of netscape.com traffic) go next to Yahoo through the Netscape search facility anyway, or directly through the browser search button.

I have a strong personal loyalty to Netscape, have friends who work(ed) there, and I made a lot trading Netscape stock. I think what Microsoft did to them is literally a crime. I admire Netscape and wish them well. I hope Netcenter is a big success, but it will never be a Yahoo-killer.

BTW, I'm pretty sure Yahoo sells the advertising on Netscape's site.
