Hello Barney,

Just stumbled onto this thread today for the first time - so you want to become a SOES trader?

I don't know anything about you, Barney, but let me warn you!!!

I have been day trading now for six months, if you are a gambler by nature and need action all the time - DON'T BECOME A SOES TRADER -
If, however, you are disciplined and can stick to a few basic, vital day trading rules, you could make a career of it - and do very well!

These rules I am eluding to can be found under daytrader.com

$100,000.00 in start up capital is a good amount. It will give you 200k in buying power (margin).

One last bit of advise - If you want to become a TRUE daytrader - DON'T EVER HOLD ANY POSITIONS OVERNIGHT - NEVER, NEVER, NEVER !!!!

Best of Luck!!!

If can be of further assistance, you'll find me on this thread.

Sincerely,

Richard B. Haenisch
