Just wanted you folks to know that you have provided me with the impetus to join SI after lurking for some months. Your thread has just the right mix of information and contentiousness to make it informative and fun at the same time. A question here: Have you discussed Y2k problems relative to the medical devices arena and hospitals? There are undoubtedly problems with date logic chips which could have life and death consequences...controlling radiation dosages for example. I have also read where 2/3 of the hospitals have no plans for dealing with Y2k issues. Has TAVA approached these markets?
