Verity and Truth

Verity was always forgetting to take her supplements and Truth couldn't see the advantage anyway's, she loved Verity as she was. Verity was a little more concerned with things relating to appearance. Verity took a complex mixture of hormone's and drugs designed to enhance her feminine traits. Verity was a rare child, born without a clear hormonal identity (hermaphroditic) she had dressed as, and remained a young girl to her parents. At the age of pubescence, medical complications became evident. Verity was somewhat confused to say the least, her unfortunate medical problems could be overcome regardless of what she chose, but choosing was something her parents seemed to feel was best, and in accordance with their wishes she chose to be female. This choice was difficult for Verity and required a fair bit of counselling. The surgical procedures required to complete what mother nature had provided were simple, though costly and long lasting. The health plan at her Father's place of employment was a Godsend, without it, her parents would have been financially wrecked.
Indeed jhild, what about women, the character Truth is based in part upon the exchange below, it is rare that I find two examples from a single poster to be so leading, at the risk of offending jhild, congratulations on your foresight, you wouldn't be living in the future would you ?

Truth was always a precocious child. The middle child in a family of seven, (two girls, three boys, Mom and Dad) she was a natural peacemaker and true delight. She had excelled at school, at sports and at her hobbies. She had not had a difficult time at puberty, she simply knew when the right partner came along. She declared her homosexuality openly in her family at the age of 16, she had known she was attracted to her own sex when she was 14. She never struggled with other peoples problems and with the exception of a scary threat or ten was completely happy with herself. Truth had graduated with excellent marks, gone on to college and succeeded brilliantly. She had several monogamous long term relationships. She owned and operated the largest ISP in her hometown and made an extremely good living working in the technology industry. Her wealth allowed her to maintain a large apartment in the Bronx, though not lavish, it was large, which in the city means expensive.
Truth and Verity had met while attending a ladies conference on child abuse. Truth was a large contributor to the prominent charity and sat on the executive board. She was known as militant crusader for the rights of children. Verity had worked with abused children since her early days in college. It wasn't a courtship so much as a general sharing of time together that extended and extended. Eventually it became apparent to Truth and Verity that their world was complete and incomplete. Through each other they developed a sense of understanding and closeness that few couples achieve. Truths strength along with Verity's charity and kindness served to make them an admirable team and true spokespersons for their Charity work. The constant flow of misery that they saw through their volunteer efforts raised deep questions in their hearts about the safety of the world they lived in. After many deep discussions regarding the compassion of God, they decided that congregational worship might allow some of the world's cares to wash away in the healing power of togetherness. They understood the problems and found an unlooked for solution when a Church nearby decided to extend an invitation to new members to attend. Uncertain, but willing to believe that indeed, if they Asked God, he might answer, they began attending services.
