One opinion I hear from two off-thread sources - the Court has no intention of wasting further time with the question. The decision will be more or less final, and will allow the mining of Las Cristinas to proceed, while attempting to make a fair judgement to the parties involved, and limiting the damage to the honour of its nation.

PS (re 6861) - yes, the decision has been made, the Chief Justice was quoted as saying so some time ago. In the fact that it has not been released is a message, imho. Just what, I'm not clear, but perhaps it includes a recommendation to the legislature? |
