Kris: There is no difference. Except Watley(and others including MB Trading,Tiger,Maverick,ALL-Tech,etc..who use the same software) adds an order entry module into the software so you can trade on the screen.

You will need to get end of day data for Metastock elsewhere.Sorry.

I personally wouldn't get a direct connection. The internet is plenty reliable and getting progressively better al the time.
