Kurt:

There were two separate COC samples that were sent to Ledoux on two separate occasions that were tested. Both were from the same 25 foot depth. Alluvial deposits often have hot spots in them that have greater concentrations of precious metals. There is the possibility that the difference that was seen from these two tests was free gold. A highly plausible theory concerning Franklin Lake is that we have refractory gold and free gold interspersed. Further testing will be needed to prove or disprove this theory.

Kim W.
